According to the practice location , the facilities are more or less consistent. There are small items ( lightweight , elastic , balloons ...) but also heavier equipment ( rowing simulators stairs , bike ... ) .

Sports clothing must be adapted to different activities performed easily remove moisture from perspiration and meet criteria of resistance.

In France , they are organized by the French Gymnastics Federation (FFG ) which includes a section aerobics , which is essentially a competition section , and a section of gymnastics shape and recreation, or by the National Federation of fitness and related disciplines ( FNFDA ) . The last championships of France FNF were held in May 2009 in Tourcoing . The competition is open to amateurs and professionals, couples, individual or group for aerobics , group for step and hip- hop.
